A partnership to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic
Background
At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the State of California needed help with vaccine distribution. With everything closed down, they needed a team put in place within weeks, execute a plan within a month, and keep up with daily changes from the CDC. The urgency of the pandemic means there's very little time to get things going and organize all the moving parts.

The client has an existing platform where the application is built on. We came in to improve the existing UX/UI while solving public sector concerns such as equal distribution for regions, financial demographics and foreign languages. In addition to the site, we are also responsible for developing marketing and educational assets. This effort with CDPH is a partnership that encompass the MyTurn site design / development / daily updates, ad banners, print materials, video, language translations, and many others. A full scope lineup of work and a partnership that the client expressed they are proud to be a part of.
Results and Impact
This partnership resulted in huge impacts for Californians everywhere. Within the first 8 months, over 10M+ vaccinations administered, 24.8M+ visitors, 6.5M vaccination appointments, 1.3M walk-in appointments. The site for Californians to schedule their vaccine appointment launched in 8 days. In addition, the site that managed vaccine distribution to counties launched in 1 short month. The project started from being a technology partner that quickly expanded to being a creative partner. The client expressed their gratitude and shifted their view and saw us as a creative powerhouse who elevated ideas and injected positive energy into a tragic pandemic situation.
